HYDERABAD, May 2: Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal MNA Sahibzada Abul Khair Mohammad Zubair has condemned the supply of contaminated water to citizens of Hyderabad which has resulted in the breaking out of waterborne diseases.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the MNA said while patients, particularly children, are being admitted to hospitals the government officials enjoy air-conditioned atmosphere in their rooms.

He said despite assurances to supply filtered water, people are getting the polluted one resulting in stomach diseases among the residents.

He demanded the resignation of the government for its failure to supply clean drinking water.
