No radiologist in Nawabshah hospital

Published February 19, 2007

NAWABSHAH, Feb 18: Medico-legal cases from Nawabshah and adjoining districts are not being entertained at the Nawabshah Medical College Hospital (NMCH) due to non-availability of a radiologist for last five months.

Prior to this, medico-legal cases from Nawabshah, Naushahro Feroze, Sanghar and Dadu were referred to the NMCH for opinion. The cases are now sent to the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences hospital in Jamshoro, which obviously takes a lot of time.

Dr Amanullah Bhangwar, medico-legal officer at the NMCH, told Dawn that the post was lying vacant since radiologist Dr Sunder went on leave in October.

IT: The role of IT professionals in the economy of any country had become very important, said District Nazim Faryal Talpur on Saturday at the diploma award ceremony at the SZABIST Job Skill Training Centre.
