KU basketball trials on Saturday

KARACHI, Feb 6: Trials to select Karachi University team for zone ‘F’ qualifying round of Inter-university basketball championship will be held at Arambagh court on Saturday, says an announcement of directorate of physical education, Karachi University.

Karachi University are to play host to qualifying rounds at their premises from Mar 5 to 7.

Four teams - Sir Syed University, Aga Khan University, Iqra University and the hosts Karachi University are drawn to compete in qualifiers by the HEC.

Winners of eight qualifying zones will later vie for honours in the main round being held at Sargodha from Mar 12.

Players of faculties and affiliated colleges of Karachi University who are interested have been asked to report to coach Abdul Nasir on Saturday at 5pm.
