HYDERABAD, Nov 26: Remains of a 50-year-old woman, who had gone missing last year. were found by the investigation wing of the ‘A’ Section police of Latifabad which also arrested four people including her second husband, her brother and a property broker.

Those arrested included Ghulam Ali, who had allegedly stabbed her to death, her brother, Ghulam Hussain, Ghulam Mohammad, her second husband and Jaffar, a property broker. The investigation police, while quoting the prime accused, Ghulam Ali, said that a property dispute between her and her brother had led to the murder of Mubarak Banu alias Munni Begum.

Her son Asif had lodged a kidnapping case with A-section police on May 3, 2005 against Ghulam Ali and Gullu under sections 364 PPC and 11/16 of Zina Hudood Ordinance vide crime no 38/05.
