DADU, Oct 22: Men and women from Drigh Bala village of Kachho area staged a demonstration outside the local press club on Sunday in protest against alleged harrassment and injustices by police.
Led by Ms Shahbaz, Juman and Jaro Birhamani the protesters complained that the SHO of Drigh Bala police station conducted raids on their houses and arrested Mir Birhmani.
He was made to pay Rs10,000 in return for his release, they said.
They alleged that the police did so after receiving bribes from a local influential landlord and appealed to the PPO of Sindh to take action against the SHO.
