HYDERABAD, Aug 16: The Hyderabad Saraffa and Jewellers Group has lashed out at Hesco’s Gari Khata SDO for his rude behaviour with office-bearers of the group and power consumers.

The traders’ body demanded immediate transfer of the Hesco official.

In a communication addressed to the Hesco chief, the general secretary of the group, Fazalur Rehman warned that if the SDO was not transferred, a meeting of all trade organisations would be convened and a protest movement would be launched against the SDO.

He said that those who were stealing electricity were criminals but the staff of the sub-division under the patronage of the SDO was cooperating with power thieves and issuing illegal detection bills of huge amounts to consumers.

He said that the issuing of detection bills had made the lives of the consumers miserable.

The general secretary of the group alleged that if any one approached the SDO to complain against detection bills, he was humiliated.
