TAXILA: An armed woman entered Burhan police station and allegedly opened fire on a head constable performing duty, according to the FIR registered by police on Monday.

Head Constable Haseebul Hassan, the police station moharrar, in his complaint, accused the woman, a TikToker, of attempting to kill him during an altercation. According to the FIR, the woman allegedly entered the police post and confronted the head constable over remarks she believed he had been making about her.

A verbal altercation allegedly followed, after which she pulled out a pistol and fired at him. The bullet allegedly struck the official slightly below his pocket but passed through his wallet. The complainant maintained that the wallet helped prevent a more serious injury. The alleged attacker then reportedly fled, taking advantage of darkness caused by a power outage, according to the FIR.

Police subsequently registered an attempted murder case under section 324 PPC and launched raids at different locations to arrest the suspect.
