QUETTA: The Balochistan government has stressed the need for closer coordination among government departments, the private sector, and technical training institutions to develop a skilled workforce, accelerate industrial growth, and create sustainable employment opportunities for the people of the province.
Speaking at a consultative meeting at the QCCI, Balochistan Labour and Manpower Secretary Saleh Muhammad Nasir said that collaboration among all stakeholders is essential to align technical education with market demands.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, National Vocational and Technical Training Commission, Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority, the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment, and private sector organisations.
Participants of the meeting stressed the importance of establishing one-window facilitation system for investors.
They noted that effective collaboration among all stakeholders would ensure a workforce trained according to the specific requirements of industries.
Chamber Vice President Mirwais Khan Kakar said the resources of Balochistan could only be fully utilised if the government created a business-friendly environment.
