ISLAMABAD: A little-known anti-Taliban outfit has claimed a number of attacks on Afghan forces over the weekend.

According to reports shared by the Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) on its official X handle, its fighters launched a rocket attack on a Taliban military convoy traveling from Kabul to Badakhshan province on Saturday.

It said the attack was carried out in the Doshi District of Baghlan province after AFF guerrilla fighters tracked the convoy from Kabul to the Northern Salang area.

The group claimed that further attacks were carried out against the Taliban regime in the Zebak District of Badakhshan province.

It also claimed the killing of four Taliban commanders during clashes over the past two days.
