TOBA TEK SINGH: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the drug control team claim to have unearthed an illegal drug manufacturing factory in a joint operation in Faisalabad on Wednesday.

An FIA ​​official informed the media that its team, led by Assistant Director Naeem Niazi, found 40 types of unregistered and illegal drugs being manufactured for human, veterinary and poultry in a factory located near the Roshanwala Bypass Road during the operation.

The team also arrested two factory owners in the raid, he added.He claimed that as per initial investigations, a large quantity of steroids and painkillers was also being added to these drugs, which were mainly sold for joint pain, weight gain and sexual potency enhancement.

He said that machinery along with tablets, packing and raw material worth more than Rs40 million were taken into custody.

He claimed that legal action had been initiated against the arrested accused.

MEAT SEIZED: A Toba Punjab Food Authority (PFA) team claimed to have foiled an attempt to supply substandard cow meat to Gojra on Wednesday.

According to Toba PFA Deputy Director Operations Adnan Haider, accused Muhammad Umar was bringing cow meat to Gojra city on a truck for supplying it to local butchers when a PFA team caught the truck near Chak 302 JB on Toba Road.
