Pezeshkian praises resilience of Iranian people amid US strikes

President Masoud Pezeshkian has praised the resilience of the Iranian people amid renewed strikes by the United States, stating that historically, southern Iran has been “a symbol of resistance against colonialism”.

“Today, too, the noble people of this land, with patience, steadfastness, and perseverance, are honourably enduring the difficult days resulting from the enemy’s aggression. I stand beside and am grateful to these loyal and resilient people,” he writes on X.
