KARACHI: A four-year-old girl drowned in a swimming pool of a farmhouse in Gadap on Sunday, rescue officials said.
An Edhi Foundation spokesperson said a family from the Samanabad area had gone on a picnic to the farmhouse on the Superhighway, where Hasba Yusuf drowned in the swimming pool.
The body was retrieved and shifted to a nearby private hospital, where doctors confirmed her death.
Gadap City police SHO Mohammed Ali Shah said the family did not want any legal proceedings and took the body away from the hospital for burial.
