Ijaz leads Faisalabad onslaught

KARACHI, Feb 9: Former Test batsman hammered 110 to guide Faisalabad into an unbeatable position on the penultimate day of the Quaid Trophy Grade-I match against Bahawalpur at Bahawalpur Stadium Saturday.

According to details available here, Faisalabad batted all day Saturday to carry their score from the overnight 92 for no loss to 393 for six.

Openers Zahoor Elahi (77) and Mohammad Ramzan (59) laid a solid foundation for the visiting team by sharing a partnership of 130.
