Gilani stresses adoption of eco-friendly transportation

ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has emphasised promoting modern, environmentally responsible, and high-quality transportation solutions in Pakistan.

At a MINI Brand Display and All-Electric vehicle showcase event organised by a private auto-manufacturing company, Mr Gilani praised innovation and sustainable mobility in Pakistan’s auto sector. He said that the adoption of advanced and electric mobility solutions reflects the country’s commitment to technological advancement and sustainable economic growth.

The Chairman Senate was briefed on MINI’s latest all-electric vehicle lineup and other innovative automotive offerings. He was introduced to the brand’s modern design philosophy, advanced technologies, sustainable mobility initiatives, and customer-focused services.

He noted that private sector investment and innovation play an important role in economic growth, industrial development, and employment generation. He expressed confidence that Dewan Motors would continue contributing to Pakistan’s progress by expanding access to efficient, modern, and sustainable transportation solutions.

Speaking on the occasion, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani appreciated the auto company’s role in supporting the development of Pakistan’s automobile sector by providing access to internationally recognised automotive standards and enhancing customer experience.

The event was attended by business leaders, representatives of the automobile industry, distinguished guests, and members of the media.
