Israel claims to intercept ‘hostile’ drone in southern Lebanon

Israel’s military claims it downed a “hostile” drone in an area of southern Lebanon where its soldiers are positioned, Al Jazeera reports.

The interception occurred after air alerts sounded in the Israeli border community of Hanita, the army said.
