LAHORE/TOBA TEK SINGH: Two alleged rapists of two sisters were allegedly killed during an encounter with the Crime Control Department (CCD) police in DHA Phase 9, Lahore, while as many
other suspects, who had raped and murder a minor boy, were “shot dead by their own accomplices” in Samundri, during a crossfire with police.In the first incident, according to a police officials, the suspects, Nasir, Mohayud Din andtheir unidentified accomplice, on May 7, approached two sisters – ‘S’ (27)and ‘I’ (18) – working as house helps,at a bus stop and lured them to a flat near Sundar, where they allegedly raped them.
The suspects fled after committing the crime.
They were reportedly arrested by investigation and operations police.

The police later registered a case against the three suspects on the complaint of the survivors’ father, a resident of Faisalabad.
The police sources say that the CCD had sought custody of the suspects and transfer of the case to the department, given the heinous nature of the crime.
The CCD officials claim that the suspects managed to flee the police custody.
On early Friday morning, they say, the CCD police set up a picket at Kamahan Road, where they signaled three motorcycle riders to stop for identification.
The suspects ignored the police signals and opened fire, which was returned by the CCD police, leading to an exchange of fire between the two sides.
Later, the police found two suspects lying dead in the firing by their own accomplice, who fled the scene.
The CCD later shifted the bodies to the city morgue for the postmortem examination, and registered a case of the “encounter.”
In the second incident, the police say, two alleged rapists and killers of a minor boy were “killed in their accomplices’ firing during an encounter with Samundri Saddar police” late on Thursday night.
A police spokesperson claims that Sub-Inspector Aun Shah, along with a team, conducted a raid on a premises at Chak 447 GB to arrest the suspects -- Noman Nadeem and Shahid.
During the raid, the police say, six suspects opened indiscriminate fire on the raiding party.
They say that Samundri Saddar SHO Muhammad Adnan also joined the raiding team with more force, and following a crossfire, both suspects were found lying critically injured on the spot, allegedly in the firing by their own accomplices,who fled the scene taking advantage of the darkness. The police recovered weapons from the suspects’ possession.
The injured suspects were shifted to the hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries, the police say.
Raids are underway to arrest the fleeing suspects, the police add.
