TOBA TEK SINGH: The Toba CCD Police have arrested a suspect on Thursday who allegedly planned the attack on the outhouse of PML-N MPA from PP-122, Col (retd) Sardar Ayub Gadhi.

Police claimed the suspect identified as Abdul Qayyum Gadhi was nabbed in a raid in Lahore.

The attack left Col (retd) Sardar Ayub Gadhi critically injured while four others died and two of his aides were wounded in the attack a few days ago in his Chak 184 GB outhouse.

Ayub Gadhi is in the ICU at the Lahore CMH after the attack and he underwent several surgeries to remove six bullets from his body.

ELECTRICITY POLE: An electricity pole fell onto houses in Chak 457 JB on Gojra Road in Jhang on Thursday evening during a windstorm and rain followed by a hailstorm causing panic among the residents.

No one was injured during the incident but the walls and belongings in the houses were partially damaged and electricity was completely suspended in the area.

Locals claim that the pole was already weak and, despite several complaints, local Fesco officials did not pay any attention.
