BANNU: The security forces reportedly carried out a quadcopter strike on an abandoned basic health unit in Khalibkhel area of Bakakhel in Bannu district on Saturday, allegedly killing a terrorist hiding there.

Local sources said an explosion was heard during the attack, spreading fear and panic among residents.

They said that the BHU building also sustained partial damage in the strike.

Following the incident, security in the area was tightened, while a search operation was launched to trace the individuals who escaped the area.
