He added that Iranian mothers were receiving the bodies of their sons with pride and dignity, saying they had sacrificed their lives for their homeland.
Mr Shaheedi alleged that despite decades of sanctions, Iran had emerged as a strong voice for the Muslim world, particularly on issues concerning Palestine and Gaza.
He also criticised what he described as a propaganda campaign against Iran, claiming that foreign powers had launched numerous media channels to influence Iranian youth.
Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan People’s Party leader Syed Zahir Ali Shah said that Iran had proven it would not step back from raising its voice for what he termed as truth. He praised the Iranian people for standing firm against global powers.
Mr Shah also criticised US policies, claiming that internal divisions in the United States had deepened over time. He alleged that American global dominance was weakening and linked it to recent political developments in the country.
Awami National Party leader Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that Iran had emerged as a significant power on the global stage and claimed that global power dynamics were shifting.
He also expressed the view that conflicts involving major powers could have far-reaching consequences for the world.
Other speakers including Shabbir Sajidi said calls for regime change in Iran had backfired and instead strengthened the country internally.
The participants also criticised the response of some Arab countries to regional conflicts as disappointing. They called for greater unity among Muslim countries.
The speakers emphasised that dialogue and peaceful engagement were essential for resolving international conflicts and maintaining global stability.
Tribal elders from Bara including Malik Syed Agha Jan Afridi, Malik Ahmad Shah and Malik Haji Mohammad also addressed the gathering and paid tribute to Iran’s leadership.
A special prayer was offered at the end of the reference for those who had lost their lives and for peace and stability in the region.
