TAXILA: Four persons were killed while two others injured in four different incidents in Taxila and Wah Cantt on Monday, police and rescue sources said.

In the first incident, a man killed his uncle and injured his son over a land dispute in Bun Bohla area in the limits of Taxila police station.

Police sources said that the man had a land dispute with his uncle. On Monday both exchanged hot words and out of rage, the niece took out his pistol and shot his uncle Fayyaz Shah deadand injured his son Zain Shah and fled.

Police shifted the injured and dead to THQ hospital for medico-legal formalities.

A speeding dumper hit a teenage motorcyclist to death and injured his friend on G.T. Road in the limits of the same police station.

Police sources said that 17-year-old Saqlain Ali was going on his motorcycle with his friend Ahmed Ali when a speeding dumper knocked him resultantly both were critically injured.

They were taken to hospital where Saqlain succumbed to his injuries.

A man committed suicide by shooting himself in Khanabad area in the limits of Wah Saddar police station.

Police sources said that Abdul Rasheed, a government employee, was in distress due to family issues for the last couple of days.

On Monday, he closed himself in a room and shot himself dead with a gun. Later, his body was shifted to THQ hospital Taxila for autopsy.
