ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah and Wapda Chairman retired Lieutenant General (R) Muhammad Saeed on Tuesday agreed to gear up efforts for timely completion of energy and water-related projects.

The meeting was held at the ministry of inter-provincial coordination.

The meeting focused on better management of water resources, ongoing Wapda development projects, and promotion of inter-provincial harmony which they agreed was essential for national development.

During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the country’s water storage capacity enhancement and the progress of ongoing development projects.

Mr Sanaullah said that achieving consensus and ensuring harmony among all provinces for development projects of national importance is a pressing need of the time.

He directed authorities concerned to accelerate the pace of ongoing projects so that the benefits could be delivered to the public at the earliest.

It was agreed that coordination and cooperation between the federal and provincial levels would be further strengthened to ensure timely and effective achievement of national development goal.
