KHUZDAR: Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has assured the people of Lasbela district that effective measures will be taken to improve water supply and provision of healthcare and other basic facilities in the district.

The assurance was given to the people of the area at his residence in Uthal with leaders of Jam Group Pir Baqar Ali Shah Jelani, Muhammad Bakhsh Barah, Attaullah Barah and Muhammad Anwar Sair.

On the occasion, the Jam Group leaders presented traditional Ajrak as a gift and extended Eid greetings to the minister. Members of the group informed the minister of the problems the area people are facing, including construction of a Basic Health Unit in Jumma Barah Goth Chak Khadri and upgrading the Government Girls School in Goth Hassan Kathore to middle level.

The minister assured the group leaders that these issues would be resolved shortly, emphasising his long-standing relationship with the people of Lasbela.

Several other delegations also met the federal minister and sought resolution of their problems. The minister assured them that these problems would be resolved soon.
