Macron praises Iraqi PM for his action to keep out of conflict

French President Emmanuel Macron says he spoke to Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and praised his efforts to keep his country out of the conflict in the Middle East, Reuters reports.

“I reiterated my support for his resolute action to prevent Iraq from being drawn into the conflict,” Macron said in a post on social media X.
