Pakistan’s embassies and consulates are providing necessary consular facilitation to its nationals, particularly those visiting, in transit, or planning to return home, the Foreign Office (FO) has said.

In a statement, the FO said Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar addressed a press briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

The foreign minister briefed the media on the situation of Pakistani nationals currently visiting or transiting through countries in the Gulf and the wider region in light of evolving developments in the Middle East, it said.

During the briefing, he underscored that the MoFA, in close coordination with Pakistan’s diplomatic missions, was closely monitoring the situation, it added.
