Judo team to train in Iran

LAHORE, May 22: An 11-member Pakistan judo team left for Iran for a month’s training before participating in the 10th South Asian Games to be held in Sri Lanka in August. The team will be trained in Tehran and Mashad with Iranian players under the supervision of the Iranian coach Muhammad Keyhan.

Pakistan Judo Federation secretary Mahmood Naveed said that Pakistan Sports Board and Pakistan Sports Trust had made funds available for the tour.

Team: Jamil Khokhar, Ghazanfar Ali, Muzaffar Iqbal, Karamat Butt, Waris Ali, Tanveer Ahmad, Abid Ali, Khuda Buksh, Zafar, Arshad Hanif, Sharif Masih.
