GWADAR: Four persons were shot dead and another was injured allegedly when unidentified armed men opened fire on a house in the Sordo area of Panjgur town.

Police say that unknown attackers targeted the house of one Ghulam Sarwar on Monday night, using automatic weapons, leaving him, his two sons, Islam and Nizam, and another man, identified as Ali Ahmed, dead.

Another man, Shah Mohammad, a resident of Quetta, sustained bullet injuries during the attack, the police add.

As per the police, Sarwar belonged to the Gichk area of Panjgur, while Ali Ahmed was a resident of Grisha in Khuzdar district.

The bodies of the deceased men were shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities before being handed over to their families.

The police say that the motive behind the murders remains unknown, adding that no one has claimed the responsibility for the killings so far.
