Two impostors held

OKARA, Feb 6: Two impostors claiming to be ISI officials were arrested on Wednesday.

B-division police arrested Azeem Akhtar of B-block, Attock city, and Muhammad Younis of F-block, Okara city, on the complaint of one Shaikh Liaquat. They identified themselves as an army captain and a general. They demanded Rs50,000 from Mr Liaquat.

Police have handed them over to local Cantt office for further investigation.

Woman crushed: A woman was crushed by a speeding wagon on Wednesday.

Zahra Bibi wife of Muhammad Bashir of Channdor village, Deepalpur, was walking along a road when the wagon (LR-9016) hit her. She died on way to hospital.

CHEATS ARRESTED: Two men were arrested for preparing bogus seeds and violating trade mark laws.

Pioneer Seed Company sales manager Dr Ashraf reported to Okara Sadar police that Munir Ahmad and Muhammad Zaeef were preparing bogus maize seed and marketing them using the name of the company.
