QUETTA: Six people were killed in separate firing incidents on Tuesday, while three others sustained injuries.

A powerful explosion took place in the Pir Koh bazaar, where an IED was planted on a motorcycle.

In Khuzdar’s Zehri area, two men were gunned down by unidentified assailants. Levies officials identified the deceased as Abdul Hayee and Khair Muhammad.

In another incident in the industrial town of Hub, a man and a teenage girl were shot dead. In Kalat, armed men opened fire on police personnel in the Azizabad, killing Constable Rub­na­waz.

Meanwhile, in Quetta’s Pashtunabad area, a motorcyclist was shot dead by armed robbers after he resisted an attempt to snatch his motorbike.
