Pakistan’s UN Ambassador Ahmad has said, “We offer our sincere condolences and sympathies to the brotherly people of Iran on the loss of life as a result of these unprovoked attacks.”
He highlighted the “deplorable” humanitarian crisis and civilian toll on both sides, saying, “International humanitarian law must be complied with by both sides.”
Terming the attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities “deeply troubling”, he said, “Such attacks contravene international law, the UN Charter, the Statute of the IAEA and IAEA general conference resolutions.”
