Bannu defeat Haripur

PESHAWAR, May 9: Bannu Red marched into the next round of NWFP Inter-district Club Super League 2006 by defeating Haripur 3-0 at Tehmas Khan Football Stadium here on Tuesday.

Asmatullah's two goals enabled the Red to win the match. Haripur did offer some resistance in the first half, which ended without any goal. Abdul Samad scored the third goal for the winners.

FIFA referee Salahuddin supervised the match. Imtiaz Ali Shah and Abdul Shakoor acted as line referees.

Another match played between Batkhela White and Lakki Karwan tied 1-1.

Samiullah and Chiragh Gul scored the goals.

Former international player Anwar Khan supervised the match while Faridullah and Allauddin acted as line referees.—APP
