LAHORE: Noted film writer Muhammad Kamal Pasha passed away in Lahore after a protracted illness.

He had long been bed ridden and suffered from multiple medical issues. Mr Pasha wrote some 300 or so films in his career. Some of his most notable works include Nikki Jai Haan, Raqasa, and Humayun Gujjar. His funeral was offered at Miani Sahib graveyard.

Noted personalities, who attended his funeral, included film writer Pervaiz Kareem, directors Masood Butt, Shahid Rana, Ashram Kazmi, producers Yaqoob, Khawar Khan, writer Nasir Adeeb, journalist Khawar Naeem Hashmi.
