TOBA TEK SINGH: Police claimed to have arrested three of the four men who allegedly gang raped a 16-year-old girl after abducting her at Chak 437 GB, Samundri in Faisalabad district.

The complainant said in the first information report (FIR) registered by Samundri Saddar police on Friday under sections 375-A and 292-C of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) that his daughter ‘M’ was on way to a doctor’s clinic when the prime suspect ‘Z’ overpowered her and forcibly took her to his house, where his three accomplices were already present.

The complainant alleged that the four suspects raped ‘M’ and also recorded video clips of the episode. He said the suspects later uploaded these video clips on social media.

Later, in a press release, Faisalabad City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar said that three of the four suspects, including the prime suspect, have been arrested, and police were conducting raids to nab the fourth.

THREE DIE ON ROAD: Three young men, two of them brothers, died in a collision between a bike and a motorcycle rickshaw on Khurrianwala-Chak Jhumra Road, Faisalabad district, on Friday.

As per Rescue 1122 officials, four youths from Chak 719 GB, Pirmahal, were on a bike on Khurrianwala -Jhumra Road, when a rickshaw ahead of them suddenly applied brakes while crossing a speed breaker.

As a result, the bike hit the rickshaw from the rear side, leaving four bike riders and two rickshaw passengers seriously injured.

Rescue 1122 says two of the bike riders, identified as Arsalan Sadiq (26) and Shahid Farooq (27) died instantly. Later, Shahid’s brother Zahid Farooq (29) also succumbed to his injuries in the Allied Hospital.

The fourth bike rider Khubaib Shafiq and a rickshaw passenger, Amanat Ali (62) are under treatment in the hospital.

One of the rickshaw passengers was discharged after provision of first aid on the spot.
