Rawalpindi police given smart wireless sets

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi police have been equipped with new smart wireless sets MDT (multicast distribution tree) 4G technology and supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to enhance communication and control crime.

The new wireless sets – replaced with old ones - will enable its user to make audio and video calls and have the facility of public network calling cameras.

Initially 50 new wireless sets have been provided to the police as all the senior police officers including SHOs have started using the new wireless sets equipped with the latest technology.

With the help of new wireless sets, the SHO would be able to hear the emergency calls made to police emergency service 15 which would help the police to promptly take action against criminals.
