ISLAMABAD: Speakers at a book launch on Senator Dr Karim Ahmed Khuwaja titled ‘A Legislative Odyssey’ on Wednesday lauded the contributions of the senator towards strengthening the parliamentary proceedings.
The event celebrated a ground breaking publication that chronicles the legislative journey and contributions of Senator Dr Karim Ahmed Khuwaja, was held at the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services.
This book is the first of its kind in Pakistan, offering a comprehensive legislative biography of a parliamentarian.
It highlights Senator Dr Khuwaja’s extensive contributions to policymaking, his commitment to public service, and his enduring efforts to strengthen democratic institutions in Pakistan.
The event was graced by a distinguished audience, including parliamentarians, vice chancellors, professors, researchers, media representatives, and students from Parliamentary Studies Programmes.
The book launch ceremony was chaired by Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and was attended among others by former Senator Farhatullah Babar and Senator Karim Ahmed Khwaja.
While Senator Dr. Karim Ahmed Khuwaja expressed his gratitude for the acknowledgment of his work and emphasised the importance of documenting parliamentary contributions to inspire future leaders and promote research in this vital area.
