KOHAT: Two shot dead in Kohat

KOHAT, April 20: Two people were killed and three others injured in different incidents of firing on Thursday while the body of a boy crushed to death by a train was found near Gandiali.

Riaz Khan was killed and his wife Madiha, Riyat Khan and Subhan Khan were injured when their rivals opened fire on their car in Sumari village.

Police have registered case against Mukmal Shah, Rambel Shah and Lalman Shah.

An unknown man was killed near the Jhandi railway station. Police said the deceased was a resident of Hangu district.

Mother of Sher Zaman, 11, said he had left his home on Wednesday and not returned till the night. His body was found on the railway tracks under the Teri Tang Bridge.

He had been crushed to death by the Rawalpindi-bound railcar.
