HYDERABAD, April 20: Dr Sonia Darracq, education attaché at the Embassy of France, has stressed the need for a pragmatic approach to improve quality of higher education in the country.

She was speaking at a lecture programme on “education in France for Pakistani students”.

The programme was organized by the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology on Thursday.

Dr Sonia said the provision of PhD facilities to students would lead to improvement in quality of education and academic standards especially in terms of higher education.
