DERA MURAD JAMALI / KHUZDAR: A man allegedly gunned down his wife and another man for honour in Dera Allahyar town of Jaffarabad district, police said on Tuesday.

The incident took place in Mahbat Shakh, an area on the outskirts of Dera Allahyar. According to the police, the suspect opened indiscriminately at his wife and her alleged friend, killing them on the spot.

The police shifted the bodies to the district hospital, where the deceased were identified as Sakran Bibi and Hidaytullah.

Local police officer Muhammad Nadeem confirmed the case was of honour killing, and the accused was arrested soon after the incident.

Body found Zehri tehsil

A bullet-riddled body of an unknown man was found on the Noorgama-Mashk road of Zehri tehsil on Tuesday.

Locals informed the authorities about the body, which was shifted to the Zehri hospital.

The hand and feet of the deceased were tied with a rope, and he was shot multiple times, Levies officials said, adding the victim was yet to be identified.
