The court found Mohsin guilty, and police arrested him on the judge’s orders.

ROBBERY: Two robbers looted Rs2.5 million from two cloth traders near Rail Bazaar Gumti Chowk on Friday.

Asad Naveed of Faisalabad and Rana Asmat Ali of Lahore were heading to their car after collecting cash from shops when the robbers, on a motorcycle, held them at gunpoint and fled with the money.

In Faisalabad, four gunmen intercepted three employees of Insaf Textile Mills on Maqbool Road in Batala Colony and snatched Rs3.6 million they had withdrawn from a bank.

Meanwhile, Chak Jhumra police registered a case against Ali Nawaz and 11 accomplices. They are accused of robbing Rs49 million from Muhammad Mohsin, a textile mill owner, after holding him, his relatives and a revenue department tehsildar hostage in their home.

According to the FIR, Mohsin and the tehsildar had visited Nawaz’s house to finalise a land deal. However, Nawaz and his associates allegedly refused to complete the transfer and confiscated the cash.
