LAHORE, April 18: Pace quartet of Shahid Nazir, Samiullah Niazi, Asad Ali and Ahmed Hayat bowled Faisalabad to a crushing two-day victory over Karachi Harbour in the Pentangular Cup fixture at the Qadhafi Stadium on Tuesday.

By virtue of this innings and two-run win, Faisalabad raised their hopes of winning the title as they went to the top with 27 points from four matches.

On the other end, it was the consecutive third defeat of Harbour.

Karachi Harbour were forced to follow-on after crashing to 144 all out in their first innings with Shahid (4-34) and Asad Ali (3-30) sharing most of the wickets.

Karachi Harbour once again

had no answer to the hostile bowling and were bundled out for 166.

The damage this time was inflicted by Sami (3-36) and Ahmed Hayat (3-46).

Opener Khalid Latif and Fawad Alam, each scored 56with nine boundaries apiece as they came together to put on 78 for the fifth wicket.
