KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar, along with senior bureaucrats and police officials, visited the headquarters of China’s tech firm Huawei to ‘evaluate and review’ the equipment required for the Karachi safe city project.

According to a press release issued here on Monday, the minister was shown demonstrations of drones and other security-related technological advancement in Sindh.

The visit was hailed as a key milestone in promoting technology in Pakistan and ensuring the success of the Karachi safe city project, the statement added.

It is worth mentioning that Huawei Technology Limited is supplying equipment for the safe city project as the firm is recognised as one of the world’s leading companies.
