KARACHI: The 24th National Men’s Netball Championship got underway here at the PSB Coaching Center with a colorful opening ceremony attended by dignitaries from the Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) and the Pakistan Sports Board.

Eight teams, including Wapda, Navy, and provincial teams, are competing in the championship.

Navy dominated the opening match, thrashing Punjab 38-3, and later defeated Sindh 30-15. Other results included Wapda beating Police 38-12 and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 33-22, Punjab beating PNF Elite 22-12 and Sindh thrashing PNF Elite 36-1. KPK also secured a 22-8 win over Balochistan.

The technical officials ensured a smooth start to the championship. The event is being organised by the PNF in collaboration with the PSB and the Sindh Netball Association.
