A stitch in time saves nine

This is regarding the story “A stitch in time saves nine” by Mahnoor Sohail (YW, September 7). The simplicity of the plot, combined with the timeless message, makes it relatable for all age groups.

Small efforts today can indeed save us from bigger problems tomorrow — a lesson I believe everyone needs to keep in mind in their daily lives.

The story “A stitch in time saves nine” by Mahnoor Sohail highlighted the consequences of procrastination. One of the main characters, Hassan, reflected this common attitude in many of us.

What stood out to me was how relatable the situation was. We all face these moments when taking immediate action feels like a waste of time and effort, but later regret the missed opportunity.

The story serves as a gentle nudge to prioritise responsibility and act on things before they spiral out of control.

Our elders’ opinions and experiences are precious; they are shaped by the challenges of time. By listening to their stories, we can make our future bright.

Power of encouragement

This is regarding the story “Power of encouragement” by Aqsa Shoaib (YW, September 21). It was an impressive read as the writer shared her personal experience of performing in front of an audience.

There’s no doubt that such an act can be challenging for students, often leading to nervousness and self-doubt.

The writer offers strategies to overcome these challenges, such as staying positive and confident. While every beginning may feel rough, the outcome can turn out well.

This is regarding the article “In conversation with a panda” by Gulrukh Tausif (YW, September 21). The article serves as a compelling example of how human activities impact other living beings. It was also very informative.
