Israel has claimed that 222 trucks carrying humanitarian aid have entered Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.

The Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) said 176 trucks arrived through the Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) crossing in southern Gaza and 46 through the Beit Hanoon (Erez) crossing in the north.

The UN and other international organisations continue to report Israeli restrictions on aid delivery to Gaza, while daily attacks, including against displaced Palestinians in designated “humanitarian zones”, continue unabated across the besieged enclave.
