DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A man was killed and two others got injured after a collision between a truck and trailer here on Thursday.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesman, a speeding truck rammed into a trailer near Pusha Pull on Bannu Road. As a result, a man was killed and two others injured.

The rescue teams reached the spot soon after receiving information about the incident and shifted the dead and the injured persons to hospital. The deceased was identified as Saeed Marwat. The injured included Shakeel Khan and Nematullah.

Meanwhile, divers of Rescue 1122 on Thursday retrieved the body of a boy, who had drowned in the Chashma Right Bank Canal (CRBC) near Kirri Khaisour in Paharpur tehsil two days ago.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesman, 15-year-old Mohammad Siddique, resident of Kirri Khaisour, had drowned while bathing in CRBC.

After receiving information about the incident, the Rescue 1122 team started a search operation through boats and scuba divers. After three days of hectic efforts, the divers retrieved the body and handed it over to the family.
