The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the occupied West Bank reports that nOPV oral polio vaccines have been delivered to Ramallah after weeks of anticipation, and coordination is underway to deliver them to the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reports.

The ministry added in a press statement that the necessary cold-chain equipment to preserve the vaccines has also been brought in, according to the official Wafa news agency.

It called on international organisations to pressure Israeli authorities to stop their attacks in Gaza for medical teams to be able to vaccinate children in the besieged enclave.
