LAHORE: Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal’s son Ahmed Iqbal has been elected as chairman of the Public Accounts Committee-III of the Punjab Assembly during the voting held here on Monday.

Ahmed Iqbal is also a former chairman of Narowal district council.

In a separate vote for the chairmanship of the standing committee on finance Mohsin Ayub Khan was elected its chairman.

Secretary-general Chaudhry Amer Habib issued notifications of both the chairmen.
