KARACHI: A string of dominant performances were witnessed on day three of the Techstirr Pvt. Ltd. National Juniors Tennis Championship here at the DA Creek Club, with several players advancing to the next round on Wednesday.

In the boys Under-18 category, Ruhab Faisal got a strong 6-0, 6-0 win over Ali Bachani from Hyd­er­abad. Ismail Aftab, Nabeel Qayum and Haziq Areejo also advanced to the next round with impressive wins.

The second round saw some intense matches, with Lahore’s Asad Zaman getting the better of Aisam Abdul Wodood 6-3, 6-1. Shamoon Hidayat, Kashan Tariq and Taimoor Ansari also secured their spots in the next round with convincing victories.

In the girls Under-18 category, Natalie Zaman, Aiman Haris, and Daliah Ashraf dominated their opponents, advancing to the next round with ease.

Boys from Hyderabad dominated in the U-14 category with Junaid Meher, Rashid Bachani, Ali and Abdul Malik winning their respective fixtures. Aahil Imran, Ansarullah, Arham Shah­zad, Zayed Zaman and Abdul Baseer also reco­rded wins in the same category.
