DADU: A woman and her three children were hospitalized in serious condition after the mother reportedly fed her children poisoned food and then attempted to kill herself by swallowing the leftover in Labour Colony, Kotri SITE, on Tuesday. Luckily, all the victims survived the poisoning.

Family members brought Shaista and her children, Abdul Rehman, 12; Bilal, 10, and Zainab, 8, to Kotri district headquarters hospital.

Kotri SITE SHO Khair Mohammad Mallah said that condition of the woman and her children was out of danger.

She took the extreme step reportedly due to domestic problems, he said, adding that the woman’s husband was jobless.
