LAHORE: The Lytton Road police arrested a man for allegedly recording an objectionable video of a young girl in the washroom of a hostel where she was staying along with other girls.

The victim girl said that she was taking a bath when she suddenly noticed someone was recording her video with his mobile phone through an exhaust fan installed in the bathroom.

She said that she immediately raised an alarm and informed the hostel’s management to trace and catch the man, fearing that he could blackmail her with the video.

The girl said that she also called on police helpline 15 and told the policemen that a man was recording her video from an adjacent building.

The police rushed to the building, seized mobile phones of all the men present there but found no recording.

Meanwhile, a security guard told the police that a young man, staying there, had just left the the building in a hurry.

The police nabbed the suspect and found the video in his mobile phone that was also shown to the complainant.

The police arrested the suspect and lodged a case against him, handing him over to the investigation wing for further interrogation.
