SARGODHA: Gujranwala police arrested PTI ex-MNA Aliya Hamza when she came out of the Sargodha jail after getting bail in three cases registered by Mianwali police.

She had been confined to Sargodha jail since April 2, 2024, as she was framed in four cases registered with Kamar Mushani Police Station in connection with May 9 violence by PTI workers.

Aliya was not nominated at the time of registration of the FIR.

Meanwhile, PTI activist Sanam Javed was produced before an ATC in Gujranwala on Thursday in a May 9 case. The court granted her four-day physical remand to police which had sought 30-day remand.
